I am Nadeem Fayaz Mir, a scholar of KEI. I have been with KEI from 2017. KEI is not only an organisation that provides scholarships for students but also helps them with other benefits ranging from workshops to build their conversational skills, leadership skills and mentorship programs to guide them through various aspects of studies, career and life. I am currently pursuing my MBBS and am feeling the benefits of what I learnt from KEI. The skills, the out of the box approach to face a problem and being proactive is needed to solve problems and act quickly. While dealing with patients facing an emergency one has to have such traits to act quickly for the benefit of the patient and for their treatment. I wish to utilise those and also add on to those so that I can see myself become the best version of myself. The Kashmir Education Initiative has been with me and guided me to reach where I am currently. I wish to achieve more and become the torch for people who need the light. I hope in the process I become a medium of help for the community.
