Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI) is a USA based non-profit that supports the education of underprivileged children.

KEI supports multiple programs aimed at enriching the educational opportunities, provide financial assistance and sustain a supportive mentor community.KEI was founded in 2007 and has since granted over $700,000 in scholarships to over 3000 students.

KEI considers education to be the primary imperative in the empowerment and development of individuals, institutions and communities. It is an all volunteer based organization that relies on generous donations from individuals and sponsors to fulfill its mission

KEI strongly reiterates that it is an apolitical organization and cannot accept funds raised at political events or for political purposes. KEI also advises all its donors and well wishers to only donate via its website or at an KEI authorized events or fundraisers that have been expressly approved by KEI’s management and its BOD

Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI) is now a decade into the mission of facilitating education of meritorious but financially disadvantaged children. In 2007, by supporting seven children thus, we made a humble beginning of investing in education. Today we are a part of 700 life stories every year.
